Community Day is a monthly event in Pokémon GO that features a specific Pokémon with dramatically increased spawn rates, an exclusive move available only during the event window, boosted shiny rates (typically 1 in 25), and special bonuses like 3× catch XP, ½ egg distance, or 3-hour Lure Modules. Community Days typically run for 3 hours and have become one of the most popular recurring events since the first one in January 2018.
📅 December Community Day Recap
Every December, Niantic hosts a special Community Day Recap Weekend where all featured Pokémon from the previous two years return with their exclusive moves. This is the last chance for players who missed specific Community Days to obtain the exclusive moves. The December Recap typically runs for two full days (Saturday and Sunday) and is one of the busiest events of the year.
